Investigations use numbered CASE files, with CASE 001 reserved for the first release. A case starts with a specific claim. We ask whether it can be reproduced, describe how it was tested, and publish the observations and limitations alongside the verdict.
THE BS METER
The BS Meter is part of our editorial language. It makes our level of skepticism visible; it is not a probability or a substitute for evidence. Exceptional claims can push it past 10.
